 If you have been around Scanning My Life for a while, you may recall this picture that I took of my father taking a picture of some grapefruit. Well here am I on that same day as my father saw me. The trusty old Yashica hangs confidently around my neck. At the time of this picture, I had little to no idea that I would end up some 10-15 years later as a graduate student at UVa, where I took my Masters in Anthropology.
