Christmas 1959

So in 1959, this pretty much described my sister and me. My sister was seriously into horses and was outfitted for riding in horse shows. I was taken by all the cowboy movies and television shows of the day so opted for the Mattel Greenie Stick-em outfit, complete with six shooter, Winchester rifle, and a belt buckle with a derringer that fired if you puffed your stomach out. This outfit actually used spring loaded plastic bullets so when you fired, it actually sent out a projectile. Can't believe it now, but it really did!
