 Summertime can be oppressive. I woke at my usual 6 AM time even though I am finally having a few days off from work. I couldn't begin to get back to sleep so I loaded myself into the car and went off for an early morning photo search. It was mostly overcast, but from time to time the sun burned through. At 7 AM, as I was shooting some pics of an old Montgomery Wards warehouse in Menands, NY, I turned to see this scene and thought it really expressed just how humid a day we were in for. And so far (11AM now) it has been. Maybe some showers this afternoon. I'll post a Pic of the Day later after I finish playing with all the pics I shot this morning. Later: There are a LOT of photoblogs!! Whew. I am exhausted! Anyway, here is my Pic of the Day: I found this site thanks to the Photoblogring. There are several very nice B&W shots of New York City.
