I went on a nice walk along the trails of Peebles Island State Park, not far from my house. I was surprised at the steepness of the cliffs along the river edge and the overall peacefulness of this park. There was a sign at the entrance saying something about an 'urban refuge' and I must agree that is how I felt as I wandered the well groomed paths. I highly recommend this park for a nice day outing if you are in the area.

As you can see from the sky, it was a bit stormy while I was out and, yes indeed, I did get caught in a shower! It was worth it, however.
