It was hot day in Albany's Washington Park. I don't go there often, but went over after work and discovered that it was where all the dog owners go after work to walk their dogs. Or, in this case to give their dog a chance to splash around in the pond and cool down. Not being a dog owner myself, this was a new view on urban life. I mean, these poor dogs are cooped up all day just waiting for someone to come home and let them stretch their legs and frolic a bit. I watched this owner and dog for a few minutes and he never tired of chasing the little sticks she threw for him.
