 If I am not going to be taking new pictures - and given my current schedule that will not be happening for a couple of weeks - I need to spend more time learning various tricks in Lightroom and Photoshop. So with that in mind, I have been playing with some shots from last year that for one reason or another I passed over. I am looking at them differently now, trying to see a picture within a picture, looking for new ways to manipulate. It's all in fun and very very experimental. Nothing coming out of this process so far is intended as a 'final' product, to be framed and hung on a wall. It is all a work in progress. Speaking of hanging things on the wall. I gather because I heard nothing, that none of my entries into the Photo Regional made the cut. I could stop by the Salon show and check it out for sure, but I am going to the official reception tomorrow night, so I think I'll just wait. | |
