 Wow, I have really been lax in getting posts up here this week. I guess vacation meant more than just off from work! Anyway, I had a great visit with my sister and brother-in-law for Thanksgiving. The highlight was an unexpected evening at a small, but charming, Cuban restaurant in Troy. An artist friend of mine was celebrating her show opening at a local gallery and invited us along. We virtually had the entire restaurant to ourselves and Carmen, the owner and chef, laid out a buffet that was spectacular. Great food, nice ambiance, and good fellowship...all anyone could ask for really. But as for photos, I didn't even have my point & shoot along due to a dead battery. And while today looks like a great day to be out shooting, I am tired and need to begin preparing mself for the next 7 week push to the next major proposal cycle deadline (mid-January) with all other sorts of work deadlines in between. | |
