Another Troy Alleyway
EXIF: SONY DSLR-A700 | 1/1000 sec | f 5.0 | 55.0mm (35mm equivalent: 82.0mm) | ISO 100

There are times when I really have to stop and wonder about my work. Over the past couple of years I have grown to expect having to work weekends. It seems to just be a better time to get something accomplished, but when we have a weekend like this one, and I am cooped up in my office, I wonder why.

A friend called this morning while I was on my way into the office. 'Don't go,' she argued, 'It's a nice day for a drive.' And indeed it was, but I have deadlines, I have a pile of 'to do's' to do, I am traveling three days next week. The reasons for working seem to pile high.

But damn! I am getting burned out on it all.

And I haven't taken a picture for weeks. Still living on a few hours one Saturday morning up at Cohoes falls, a few walks around downtown Troy, and my nie Saturday in the City with fellow photobloggers. But my supply of pictures is running thin now.

And in early July I have to decide if I have anything worth entering in this year's Member Show at the Photo Center. So far, I can't think of a thing I have that is worth the effort.
