EXIF: FUJIFILM FinePix F20 \| 1/450 sec \| f 2.8 \| 8.0mm (35mm equivalent: 140.6mm) \| ISO 100 Well, obviously not the FIRST flower, but it is the first flower I have taken a picture of this year. Found a little clump of these flowers -- jonquils? -- in the woods behind the place I was doing my laundry this morning. The colors really stood out against the dreary browns and grays that still dominate the vegetation around here. Tomorrow I am out to explore waterfalls in Troy with a group of fellow photographers. Should get so interesting new material.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
