"Western" Virginia Hot Dogs
EXIF: SONY DSLR-A700 | 1/640 sec | f 5.6 | 28.0mm (35mm equivalent: 42.0mm) | ISO 100

When I traveled to western Maryland a couple of weeks ago, I knew I'd be swinging down through a piece of West Virginia on my way to my Mother's in the Shenandoah Valley. I dusted off the West Virginia Hot Dog Site to see whether I could find one enroute. Much to my dismay my intended route did not come close to any of the real thing.

So a few days after I got to my mother's, I went to Sam's Hot Dogs in downtown Waynesboro VA and discovered that, while not billing it as a West Virginia Hot Dog, they offerred all the requisite toppings to make one -- beanless chili, yellow mustard, and cole slaw. I bought two and here they are. I dub them Western Virginia Hot Dogs though.
