 A break from the hot air balloon shots... Yesterday (well, Sunday) I flew to New Orleans for a one day meeting on Monday. Planned for a leisurely flight down and a long afternoon at the hotel pool relaxing. Was not fated to be. Ended up spending 5 hours on this tube, 3 waiting on the tarmac for weather to clear so we could take off and another 2 flying. At one point I looked up from my book and saw that the monitors were down and all showing nothing but noise and snow on their screens. Seemed fitting for the ordeal we all endured. | |
