![]() So how can I explain this? This was part of an opening night celebration for the Albany Tulip Festival. As an art installation, a wooden model of an old Dutch-style windmill was constructed over a sculpture of a tulip. Around sunset, accompanied by a specially written musical piece, the mill was set afire. In this shot, which was taken about halfway through the burn, you can just begin to see the tulip emerging from the inferno. We were about 150 feet from the fire and at its height we could feel the heat. | |
