So why was I in New Orleans, anyway? We were kicking off a new project with NASA. We are now working with folks at the Stennis Space Center to perfect a smart imaging system for detection of hydrogen flames. And they use a LOT of hydrogen at this place. This picture is one of the original test facilities used for testing the engines on the Saturn Rocket that lifted astronauts from Earth on the way to the Moon during the Apollo program on the 60s/70s.
