One objective for the night in New Orleans was to eat a fine meal. After much walking and menu searching, we fell into Tujaques on Decator St. (pretty much across the street from Cafe du Monde) where we supped on a wonderful five course dinner consisting of Shrimp Remoulade, Seafood Bisque, Brisket of Beef with Cajun sauce, an entree of crawfish sauteed with butter, baby corn, and creole spices, and a warm caramel covered banana bread pudding for dessert.

Our waiter, Jorge, is pictured here. We were the last customers in the restaurant so we had a few minutes to speak with him. Turns out, Jorge is an avid photographer, shooting 100% film mostly on a medium format Bronica and about 15 other film cameras. He does his own darkroom work and has not gotten into digital at all. Interesting man! If you get to NO, please give this place a try and tell Jorge I sent you!
