EXIF: SONY DSLR-A700 \| 1/125 sec \| f 18.0 \| 90.0mm (35mm equivalent: 135.0mm) \| ISO 100 Here is a quite different form of lighting, what they taught me as 'dramatic' (as opposed to 'glamor') lighting. This was taken with a direct light from the side, I believe with a red gel over about half of the light. Converted to B&W. This particular shot make me think of Lauren Bacall for some reason. Perhaps I saw a portrait of her at some point in my life that was similar in lighting.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
