EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D \| 1/2000 sec \| f 5.6 \| 70.0mm (35mm equivalent: 105.0mm) \| ISO 100 Another from the Texas trip. I should know what sort of bird this is, it seems to have very distinctive features, but aside from placing in the general class of 'raptors' I have no clue. Taken along some back road near the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. As we ring out 2007 on this last day of the year, my area is buried under another 10 inches of snow. I am pretty sure this is the third (or fourth) Monday morning this month that has been disrupted by snowfall. I suppose the commute today will be ok though as many folks are still on holiday vacations. I went to see the movie 'Charlie Wilson's War' yesterday. Powerful story and I left with the words of the Zen Master on my mind, 'We'll see.'
