Race Point Beach Fence
EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/125 sec | f 16.0 | 35.0mm (35mm equivalent: 52.0mm) | ISO 100

I know that I promised my beach shots from my trip to Cape Cod were done. But as the Midwest is locked in ice and the Northeast is hit every other day with sleet and freezing rain, and our first significant snowfall predicted for today...I simply had to recall the sunny warmth of the beach.

It is also possible that this shot may sit here for a few days. My processed, ready-to-post archives are thin and I am really in the middle of my usual end of year crunch at work (actually the crunch extends into January a week or so). I am putting in 12 hour days, and working 7 days a week, so photography takes a back seat. I'll manage to take off Christmas day, but that is about it. This crunch happens every year as our company responds to a major annual government contract solicitation. They issue the solicitation just before Thanksgiving and the proposals are due about a week into January. My job is to write those damned proposals and we are trying to get eight out of the office this year. Totally disrupts any ability to plan for vacations during the holidays.
