 When I arrived at Marconi Beach on my first day on Cape Cod, it was getting fairly late. It was overcast. As I descended the stairs to the beach I noticed that up and down the beach in both ways there were large sand sculpture left from a day of activity on the beach. I took lots of shots, but found this Mermaid to be one of the better ones. The beach itself was totally deserted, which seemed really odd to me. I have come to expect most beaches to have people on them, even when the weather is not perfect, but for as far as I could see in either direction this beach was empty. | |
