Mom and Micki
EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/50 sec | f 11.0 | 60.0mm (35mm equivalent: 90.0mm) | ISO 100

I am back.

Of course, we got hung up by the big nor'easter that blew up the coast on Sunday. Our flights were canceled and we opted to travel by train instead on Monday.

Last Thursday I was happy to finally meet and spend an afternoon with Micki Harbour, who used to post daily on Shutterbug Underexposed. Many of my regular visitors, and I am sure many of the not so regular ones as well, know Micki from her regular comments on what seemed to be a limitless number of photoblogs.

I had promised Micki that if I was ever down her way that I would stop for a visit. And I did! We spent an hour or so at a beach on the York River then retired to her home for a while. It was a grand visit for all.

On the whole I am disappointed with my photographs from the trip. There are a few decent shots, but for the most part, it is a sorry group.
