 Another from the Production Floor series. I may try to get back there sometime when they are actually using these tools and see what I can get. Last Friday I went to an Open House at a new Photo Center in nearby Troy. The Photo Center, which reminds me of the Art Center in Waynesboro Virginia that my parents were (Mom still is) so involved with, is a membership supported facility offering galleries for display of work, a museum of historic cameras (pretty impressive already!), a shooting studio, large format printers, equipment for mounting etc. and various meetings, seminars and 'salon nights.' I met the owner and was impressed with his knowledge and enthusiasm for bringing such a resource to our community. Perhaps best is that it is very convenient for me to get there. In fact, when my office relocates to Troy later this year, I will pass right by this center every day. No excuses to not join. | |
