  With great sadness, the photoblogging community learned today that Lynn Rockwell has succumbed to her year-long battle with cancer. Lynn was special to me and a long-time supporter of forgingahead. I would have to say Lynn was the first 'regular' visitor to this site. I was honored to come to know Lynn as a person and watched in awe as she struggled against the inevitable over the past months. Lynn wanted to meet her fellow bloggers at the NAP meeting in Chicago and wrote how that desire was helping to keep her going. Lynn was active at photoblog.org, an early member of both RequestStock and Weekly Shots, and just a wonderful supporter of her fellow photo bloggers. I will miss Lynn. | |
