![]() Two lakes, two posts. While in Madison Last week I took a short detour to get some shots of the lakes. It was far too cold for a walk though, so I settled for a few shots taken from the end of a road leading to Lake Mendota. The eye surgery went well. I now have uncorrected 20/20 vision in my right eye (still virtually blind in my left one!). If the left works as well as this one after the second round of surgery, I will shed glasses (which I have worn for more than 50 years) for all but reading. It is totally amazing to see the world clearly. The new lenses include a UV/blue light filter which I notice already has an impact on how I see the colors of the world around me. Not sure how this will impact my photography, but I wonder it I won't tend to overboost the blue end of the spectrum to compensate for not seeing it as well. | |
