It is a Contorted European beech, found at the Landis Arboretum in Esperance, New York. Here is the sign associated with the tree Taken at the Landis Arboretum in Esperance, New York. A very noticable tree which as I recall is known as an English twisted beech.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
