EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/125 sec | f 5.6 | 35.0mm (35mm equivalent: 52.0mm) | ISO 100

I have not taken many fresh shots for a long time. Between work and less than optimal weather, I have just not had much opportunity.

So here is a shot taken back in July when I went out for day long excursion. I don't know what this plant is, but I found it growing inside an old tree stump in the Village of Sharon Springs.

WOW Award

I have been enjoying the travel photography from David and Sue Lindley over at roadtonowhere for nearly a year now. I am sorry that before now I have not recognized the consistently great quality of their work. They have invited us to travel to exotic locations with them and through their eyes we have often been treated to some truly amazing sights and interesting characters (I smile to think of the 'Umbrella Man' recently featured).

A few days ago, David told the regulars that we would grow tired of the series of pictures of the 'chinese nets.' Well judging from the comments on todays picture Chinese Nets 6, the general consensus is that the series just got better and better with each shot so by #6 we were all 'WOWed!' Forgingahead was too.

Wow-award from Forgingahead!
