Thunderbirds
EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/500 sec | f 5.6 | 70.0mm (35mm equivalent: 105.0mm) | ISO 200

I took a day off from my busy work schedule today and went up to Burlington, Vermont to see an air show and to meet John from megapickles. The weather turned less than optimal but I went anyway. John and I met downtown (thanks John for braving the crowds) for a beer and chat, then I went down to the Lake Champlain waterfront to watch the main act of the air show -- the aerial performance team from the Air Force, the Thunderbirds. Due to the overcast sky and scattered rain showers during their show, they seemed to have curtailed many of their more spectacular maneuvers.

Pictures were a challenge and none came out terribly well. This shot was an accident when the autofocus locked on a light post.
