EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/800 sec | f 5.6 | 18.0mm (35mm equivalent: 27.0mm) | ISO 100

One last shot (for now) of the old Motor Court. This is the main building of the comples which undoubedtly served as an office, gas station, and perhaps even a rudimentary grocery store.

A comment yesterday asked when this site was abandoned. I have no definite answer for this. The NYS Thruway opened in 1954 and overnight the demand for motor court's like this ended. Many managed to find other ways to stay in business, but I am pretty sure that it would not have been long after 1954 before the owners would have seen the writing on the wall.
