Part of the cycle of life in the Albany Pine Bush. The cone is slowly covered in sand. Releasing its seeds to the earth. Taken late afternoon, early evening with low sunlight streaming through the trees.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
