I have a suspicion that this fellow is well known to folks who frequent Central Park on a regular basis. When Phillipe, Kristine, and I first passed through the park he was alone playing soul music on a tape player and doing Tai Chi. Later in the day, I passed by his location again and he was the center of a huge crowd of people, many, like me,spectators and many others participating in joyful dance and roller skating. As you can tell from this shot, he was a happy fellow indeed.
More from my New York City excursion over the next week.

WOW Award

I have not given a WOW Award for a couple of weeks. The delay has a lot more to do with my busy schedule than with lack of WOWable photos. I have been watching Adam's site Tenebrophilia for a few months. He features a lot of interesting subjects and recently has been mastering night shooting and has learned a lot from Bob at No Traces. The influence shows in this WOW Award winner titled ice flow. This shot clearly expresses the power of the water after the ice breaks up.
