![]() Did you ever have to watch one of the most gorgeous sunsets of all time from the inside of a laundromat? That is what happened to me tonight. I wandered around the area as the clothes spun around and around, drying in the dryer. I shot a few pictures of the twilight just before the sun sank below the horizon. I could tell the conditions were good for a nice sky show but I wanted to get the laundry done, so back inside the laundromat I went. As I stood there folding my warm clothes and placing them neatly in the basket, the sky lit up in grandeur unmatched. Reds, purples, and deep blues. You will have to take my word for it because my camera was safely locked in my car. What do I have to show for it all. Well a few 'okay' shots of the sky above a cemetery, a couple of cloud shots with the moon, a few pictures of an ugly artificial Christmas tree at the shoppling plaza, ... and this shot, a reflection of the pre-sundown sky... perhaps five minutes before the show began! | |
